Audrey Hayes is a contemporary artist from British Columbia, Canada.  

 

Audrey was born in Paisley, Scotland.  At a young age, her family moved from Scotland to England and eventually immigrated to Canada where she grew up in the picturesque city of Victoria.

 

After dabbling in sculpture, printmaking and ceramics while at university, she finally discovered that her true passion was painting.  While largely self-taught, Audrey has taken several courses and workshops with local artists who have influenced her painting style.  Her whimsical, non-conventional sense of creativity mixed with a vibrant palette, simple imagery, and a naïve sensibility exemplify her paintings.

 

Audrey's paintings can be found in private collections across Canada, the United Kingdom, Europe, and the United States.
